Selected Project Experience

WEMA Security Challenge '99/2000

Technical coordinator for a wide-spread demonstration of the business-to-business opportunities in Secure E-business. The Challenge used PKI and PKCS to demonstrate interoperability of Certificate Authorities and the use of public and private keys to assure authentication and non-repudiation.

Enterprise Directory Services

FTT has designed and built enterprise directories and Extranet directories for large organizations and service providers based on the LDAP and X.500 technologies. FTT can assist with the requirements definition, schema design and selection of a vendor. Some of these directories contain millions of entries and support hundreds of thousands of users. FTT also offers a series of workshops about enterprise directory technology.

Due Diligence Investigation

Performed an in-depth due diligence examination of the messaging product and service offerings from several large organizations seeking to merge their skills and expertise. Particular emphasis was placed on the security capabilities for Electronic Commerce and product synergies which could be capitalized for Unified Messaging.

Call Center Tracking System

Developed a client-server Call Center system to track agents, customers contractors and their activity. The system was written using Visual Basic 5.0 and SQL Server database. The reporting tool is Seagate Crystal Reports. ODBC was used to permit ease of portability between databases. The solution was implemented for the Windows '95 and Windows NT operating systems.

Directories Integration Pilot

FTT assisted with the archictecture, design and implementation of the Pilot environment using X.500 and LDAP directories. FTT developed and administered the Test Plan and Test Cases required for Proof of Concept.

Secure E-business/EDI Extranets

FTT has assisted a number of medium-sized and large organizations with defining their requirements for secure Customer and Trading Partner Extranets, including required software, computers and Internet connectivity/VPNs. Designed solutions to support Secure E-business implementation between trading partners.
